African, what is in your home? Do you have insignificant things where you stay? What pictures do you have in your home? Do you have pictures of no significance to your being? I go through my home often, but not often as I should and took out all the knickknacks, books and papers that did not pertain to who I am today, and I shredded, recycled and gave them to a person selling wares on the street. Go around your home and take down the pictures or knickknacks that may be seemingly okay, but with a second and deeper look, not purposeful to your newfound being. Take them down. Put them in a box and give them away. Gradually, put up pictures and things that are significant and reflect the person you are. Make your home, no matter where it is, from a council flat to a shanty, smell and look beautiful; reflect the beautiful person you are. Surround yourself with things that are reflective of you and your journey. You will feel calm in your surroundings; your home and its content is a reflection of you!”
