Y. Broady is an inspirational, grassroots activist writer nurtured for the bridge-generation to share knowledge to those went through the Black Power Movement and those who did not. While working on her Master’s degrees in Post-Apartheid South Africa and Egyptian History, she took a trek to Africa to study with Dr. Ismail Kahlil, an Egyptian archeologist. She came across vital and unique facts dating back to 3000 BCE. that ancient African Egyptians developed into a complex system outlined in The African Seed. When Broady applied The African Seed techniques to her life she gained more finances and fulfillment in many areas of her life. Her life became more beautiful, unstoppable, financially abundant, and joyous!
The African Seed consists of wisdom, laws, and principles ―the foundation of a beautiful and wondrous way of life. Broady feels dedicated and spiritually inspired to share the mysteries of the ancient African teachings, with The African Seed. Broady has inspired many at her release at the Harlem Book Fair selling out and confirming the meaning and love of life for the young and old, homeless and seekers of a new thought of attendees.
An award-winning communications website guru and an accomplished musician and producer, her own music business spanned from New York to England where Broady spent nearly a decade in England (home to many first-generation Africans) studying comparative religion, metaphysics, auras, numerology, astrology, reflexology, and Eastern philosophies. Her specialty is African teachings of mind, body, soul power, and spirituality that can be used to develop a person into a warrior and self-healer of earth-bound ills and wounds.
Being thrown into a very early life of anguish, she awkwardly fought her way out of abuse and violence and it was the use of the principles in The African Seed that also brought strength back into her life.
Broady has previously authored Tamika Jones Adventure, an epic historical novel of Africans across the diaspora from 1969 to 2004.

BOOK SUMMARY (LONG)
The African Seed is a fresh approach to life fulfillment, similar to The Science of Getting Rich, and The Master Key System, but factors in the current daily life experiences. Although these other books provide useful information for everyone, offering good tips for growth and inspirational advice, they don’t relate to Africans across the diaspora and their current unique day-to-day experiences.
Broady personally researched and gathered vital and unique information written years before the Common Era, facts that the ancient African Egyptians developed within a very complex system. These mysteries—or secret order—consist of ancient wisdom, laws, and principles that are the foundation of a beautiful, wondrous way of life. She was intrigued by the facts she uncovered that date back to 3000 BCE. During that time, ancient Egyptian African people based their lives upon these facts, gaining fulfillment, joy, and wealth by using particular practices according to specific spiritual laws. She understood that this discovery, is what helped her own self-esteem and life fulfillment, and that this knowledge could help the self-esteem and abundance of those who read The African Seed.
Through centuries of war and slavery, and much upheaval, wisdom and tradition had been handed down orally to the African diaspora, but are largely forgotten today. Lost across the Middle Passage and through Africa’s disturbance., these forgotten laws and principles are the foundation of The African Seed; a dissection of what the reader should do to unlock the mystery-keys and reach joy, happiness, better health, love, and abundance.
The African Seed includes anecdotes, exploratory questions, boxed inspirational tips, affirmations, mental imagery exercises, and other practical guidance. All of this assists the reader through a wisdom journey towards self-empowerment and ancestral knowledge.
Millions of Black people want and need improvement and individual growth because of a personal crisis, a recent epiphany, or global unrest, or, perhaps, to create a better life for themselves. Until now, there has not been a book offering simple solutions to difficult problems faced on a daily basis for the African diaspora, one that is based on transparent African principles.
It is important to note that there is no need to practice magic, renounce faith, or become a swami; all the reader has to do is release particular behavioral patterns to reach success and fulfillment, and revitalize everything in their world,.
How can young and old Black people get out of the rut that they face on a daily basis? How can they cope with such events as catching a taxi, combating the eyes watching them as they shop, being overlooked in a position at a job when they have the credentials, counter the untruths in the media about themselves, handle racism in their day-to-day lives? It is through first understanding that the pain of centuries of hurt needs healing and then using sacred, ancient African knowledge, which is already within the universe, to gain control over the blessings the reader deserves. In The African Seed, Broady articulates her own life’s lessons, disappointments, ups and downs, struggles, and discoveries, and has created this inspirational book to bring the mysteries of ancient African teachings to Africans across the diaspora and to the world today.
From the very beginning of the text, she massages the reader’s mind, restores faith, taps into the innate African wisdom, teaches through short step-by-step practical and straightforward techniques how to eliminate or handle:
In the first part of the book, readers learn the whys of pain and dissatisfaction they may have. In the second part, the book logically demonstrates how to use positive mind-energy and physical action from the readers’ ancestors to attract the desires waiting for them. It reawakens fierce energy and leads readers to achieve the goals that they may never have thought they could!
The African Seed shows readers how to put aside their pain and focus on the joy of their experiences of love, humility, and kindness, and takes the readers through a journey where they can learn how to use innate characteristics to regain benefits and reach higher goals. Readers will learn to control their mind, body, and soul to help grow towards the mountain of success waiting for them.
With so many changes happening in the world and in Africa today—politically and economically—everyone, of all colors, is looking for a way to be joyful and prosperous. If the reader is unhappy, tired, angry, frustrated, broke, out of luck in relationships, has a gut feeling that something is in the way, blocking their ancestral blessings, or feels like he or she has not met his or her true potential—if everything has been tried but fulfillment in life still seems elusive—it is time to take the right path to get to true blessings. The joy is inside each of us, but we’re not always quite sure where the key is to unlock the door. There is now one single book to bring it all together and The African Seed is the key to demystify the path. Having the knowledge is the Seed. All one has to do is to apply the lessons in the short chapters and watch life transform from mediocrity to phenomenal.
According to the book Mental Health Care for People of Diverse Backgrounds, edited by Julia D. Buckner, Ph.D., Black people are the least likeliest group to see a therapist. “Mistrust of the health care system may also lead some clients to feel they need to control as many aspects of the therapeutic process as possible.” The African Seed offers a private and intimate way to self-reflect.
The African Seed cuts through the maze of information, touching the reader emotionally, teaching how to achieve fulfillment and abundance by dealing with day-to-day experiences. The book is written in a down-to-earth voice, like an African wisdom master instructing a student in simple, encouraging language. The book is simple to understand so that anyone who reads this action journey will receive fulfillment, love, and abundance!
